Name: Stephen Adams aka Re:Flex the Architect
Lives: London, England (yes, I'm a Pom!)
Age: 26
I'm an MC/beatmaker/producer/occasional average beatboxer and only non-American member of a US-based crew called Scribbling Idiots. Used to be an occasional member of the old IDM boards (bigup DJP, Mistery, Rezadent, Oakbridge, Mark 1, etc) and have produced tracks for both Pragmatics and Storm Troop. I sell beats - hit me up. I've also met Mistery in person. Therefore, am in the top 5% of human beings to have lived. :-D
Christian perspective: Psalm 37:23-24. Jesus is incredible!
Since our initial meeting I have now started a new cult called Re:Flexism. I have constructed a shrine with Re:Flex icons and I light a candle in remembrance of our food court rendezvous. You changed my life big guy...

Been in hip hop and MCing since 14yrs, djing 16yrs. When I'm not spinning decks, mixing in the studio or droppin rhymes in ACLC. I'm also working as a christian psychologist operating out of St George area. Plenty of work too! Interests here: suicide prevention, men's health, youth health etc. God has graced me with lots of wordz to share here. Check www.headzup.com.au.
My main buzz: Spreading the word as a hip hop artist is more challenging now than before with God raising me in other ministries and family. He has tasked me currently to generate music video..sowing a seed that will last and with stories aimed at taking deep root. Stay tuned as I will announce latest release in near future.

Have you been to a Krosswerdz gathering?

Name: Jonathan Broom aka Jonny B
Alias: Son Of Thunda
Age: 27/02/1983, do the math..
Born: Hitchin, United Kingdom
Live: Carindale, Queensland (soon to be Morningside)
Story: It all started on a cold winters night.....nah just kiddin. When I moved to Terra Australis in 1988 it took a couple more years before I had my first taste of Hip Hop music, and I've gotta be honest, it wasn't a great one (MC Hammer - U Can't Touch This), but I knew there was something in it for me!
As a dedicated listener of Hip Hop, I worked my way through the history of the Art and also the Culture. She was my first love straight up, long before I met God, My amazing wife Rachael and my precious little daughter Rebekah. Hip Hop has played such a major part in my life, so much that it was hard to let go of when God needed me too in order to grow. In 1996 I started up a crew with my best friend Michael (aka Digga), called Spiritual Souljazz. We performed at many local events that were put together by an organisation called Up Surge, plus various others. Did a few big shows too, I'm not 100% sure, but I think our last gig together was at Groundswell 2000. Shortly after that I moved to Sydney to sort myself out, where I also began writing and performing as a solo artist, and with a mate called Nebs. We recorded a couple of demo tracks together but then I moved to Brisbane and that was the end of that. Since I've been here, I recorded a track called "Days Of Our Lives" for an album called 'My Love, My Life, My Lord' by Andrew Stone. That is the last track I have recorded, and since then the only thing I have completed as far as writing is concerned are my vows to my wife! I've had writers block for a little while now, so I've been dabbling in the Arts, Fashion and Beat Production... I'm praying for direction and that God might give my voice back!
