This month we’re setting Krosswerdz off with a 2 on 2 half-court basketball comp. Teop & DJ Soup from the Fonke Knomaads will host/MC/commentate and the Krosswerdz sound system will be in effect. So if you’re down for some b*ball action bring yo’ Jordan’s and head down for a 4:00pm start.
BroadKast performing this month at Krosswerdz!
Coming live and direct from Brisbane, Hip Hop duo BroadKast are set to crush mics and spit mad flavour at this months Krosswerdz. BroadKast will also be performing at Oakbridge's album launch!
BroadKast is made up of 2 emcees; Kaleo and Mastermind (each solid individual artists in their own right), who recently joined forces in their quest for musical brilliance. Powered by their distinct beats, nimble flows and energetic live performances, BK have structured their musicianship around a strong friendship and a mutual respect for each other, which has lead to a devotion to integrity and musical professionalism.

Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out—the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry." Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. They were all filled with awe and praised God. "A great prophet has appeared among us," they said. "God has come to help his people." This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.

Hi everyone, I'm a writer and an mcee from the mountains, just getting back into hip hop again, after a long time. If anyone has any beats for me to drop some rhymes over, i'd appreciate it, anyway, don't know where belmore is or even how to get there but I might come along.

You're more than welcome to come and hook up with us on Saturday. Belmore is South West Sydney. It's near Lakemba and Wiley Park. If you were coming down by train you could get a country train to Central and then change lines to come out to Belmore. (The PCYC is right over the road from the train station.) Mistery? and Mask.One are both writers and they'll be there on Saturday.
Kristy D who is part of the KW team and Jesse who's also part of the KW family are based in the mountains.
We'll be having an open mic at the end of the nite so the invitation is there for you to rip a freestyle or cypha with Izzy, 21monks, Oakbridge, Mistery?, Teop...
The night before we'll be having Oakbridge's album launch at Chatswood. I'm about to post the details for that up now.
